Our Current Colors
The Twisted Sisters specialize in dyeing luxurious fibers. We use only the finest grades of fibers so that our yarns feel as good to knit with as they look knit up. Our favorite fibers are the softest cotton and cotton blends, merino wools, silk/merino blends, and finest alpaca that we can find.
Each of our Monochromatic Variegated colors is akin to a fine watercolor masterpiece. Using special dyeing techniques, we treat the Monochromatic Variegates so that each skein reveals a myriad of glorious shades. This gives the yarn a unique three-dimensional depth.
We use our Monochromatic Variegate colors to compose one-of-a-kind Hand Paints. The hues in Hand Paints combine to create visual magic, each color blending with its neighbors to create new and unique shades. Hand Paints are dyed in lots of 20 skeins, and are never repeated.
Each of our 48 colors is dyed across each of our fibers. All of our fibers are put up in 50-gram skeins.

Avarice, 100% prime alpaca (US #4-6, 3.5-4 mm);
Jazz, 100% fine wool(US #5-8, 3.75-5 mm);
Daktari, 100% slubbed cotton (US #6-8, 4-5mm);
Mirage, 52% rayon/48% cotton (US #4-7, 3.5-4.5 mm);
Petite Voodoo, 50% silk/50% merino wool (US #4-7, 3.5-4.5 mm);
Voodoo, 50% silk/50% merino wool (US #6-8, 4-5 mm);
Mojo, 90%% kid mohair, 10% Nylon (US #6-8, 4 - 5mm);
Oasis, 68% rayon, 32% slubbed cotton. (US #5-8, 3.75 - 5mm);
Zazu, 100% Extra Fine Merino (US #3-8, 3.00 - 5mm);
Lust, 70% Super Kid Mohair, 30% Silk (US #3-8, 3.00 - 5mm)
